VAJRA - Visiting Advanced Joint Research Faculty Scheme

VAJRA (Visiting Advanced Joint Research) Faculty Scheme is a dedicated program exclusively for overseas scientists and academicians with emphasis on Non-resident Indians (NRI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) to work as adjunct / visiting faculty.  VAJRA Faculty would be able to (i) engage in collaborative research of highest global standards in public funded institutions in India (ii) undertake teaching etc. in addition to research (iii) involve in developing technology, setting up start-ups etc. Initially, the residency period would be from one to three months. It could, however, be extended if required by the host institution.
