IMPORTANT NOTICE: RESCHEDULING OF BHARAT KO JANIYE QUIZ (BKJ)

The first round of the “Bharat Ko Janiye” Quiz or “Know India” being organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India has been rescheduled to take place from 16 - 30 September 2018 in place of the earlier announced dates 19-21 July 2018.

2. The Quiz will be held online. There will be 30 questions in the first round of the Quiz with 25 minutes to answer them. There will be three different categories of contestants- Non Residential Indians, Persons of Indian Origin and Foreign Nationals. The contestants should be aged 15 to 35 years. Contestants do not need to visit the Embassy or the Consulate to participate in the Quiz.

3. The website for the 2nd edition of “Bharat Ko Janiye” is now live with webportal: https://www.bharatkojaniye.in/. Registration on the portal is mandatory.

4. The second, third and fourth rounds of the Quiz will be conducted by the Ministry of External Affairs. The 10 finalists from each category will be invited to India for a 15-day Bharat Ko Janiye Yatra including a visit to Lakshadweep Union Territory. Top 3 winners of each category will be awarded gold/silver/bronze medals at the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas Convention in January 2019 at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
