Rashtriya Ekta Diwas On October 31, 2021

As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Special Week, Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was observed at the Embassy on October 31, 2021, the birth anniversary of Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, with the Indian community participation.

A documentary on the life & message of Sardar Patel was screened. Ambassador Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan spoke about life & message of Sardar Patel.

HOC Shri Sandeep Grover spoke about the Freedom Movement & recited the poem "सरफ़रोशी की तमन्ना", the favorite poem of Shaheed Bhagat Singh & his companions.

A Tribes India Aatma Nirbhar Corner at the Embassy was inagurated during the event. Visitors to the Embassy can now get a glimpse into the culture/art/lifestyle of Tribes of India.
