CII Institute Of Logistics - LOGISTICS SUMMIT 2019

We are pleased to inform you that CII Institute of Logistics is organizing a conference aim at exploring key logistics levers for business success. The deliberations would be arranged in three sessions as below.

• Modern Logistics Infrastructure

• Digitization impact on Logistics

• Enhancing image of the sector

Progression towards integrated logistics and transportation is important for improved logistics competitiveness of the country. Conducive business environment and support from Government policies are likely factors which improve attractiveness of logistics sector. Present Government's commitment towards building national logistics infrastructure such as road and rail networks, ports and logistics parks is resulting in improved efficiencies. In addition the increasing trend of well-established multinational logistics companies' entry into India is a good indicator of rapidly growing sectorial attractiveness.

LOGISTICS SUMMIT 2019 'Levers for Improving Logistics Competitiveness' is scheduled on 4th February, 2019 in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Session Focus:
The programme will provide frameworks and insights for examining and understanding the complex nature of the challenges of doing business abroad in the context of WTO, TRIPS, and GATS, overcoming the liabilities of foreignness and outsidership. The focus would be on the range of choices for managing institutional and cultural diversity in foreign commercial presence and coping with various kinds of risks, including country risk and political risk.
