Aerospace And Defence Manufacturing Technologies Conference

We are pleased to inform you that TNTDPC of CII in partnership with Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM) is organizing its 4th Edition - Conference on Aerospace & Defence Manufacturing Technologies on 5th July 2019 at Hotel ITC Grand Chola, Chennai with the theme of “Strengthening Indigenous Industry”. This conference is chaired by  Mr Jayant D Patil, Whole Time Director, Senior Executive Vice President – Defence Business & Member of the Board, Larsen & Toubro Limited.

Session Focus :

This conference aims to help stakeholders understand how to effectively synergies our strengths and capabilities for a prospective growth in manufacturing segment to achieve indigenization in the aerospace & Defense sector.  This conference also aims to serve as a knowledge platform to discuss on the opportunities and challenges in the Aerospace & defense sectors and to further serve as an interaction platform for key stakeholders in the defense and allied sectors; Identify areas to build capacity to harness the opportunities in the defense sector; Understand from key officials the expectations of aerospace industry; Gather thoughts on how to effectively utilize the MSME segment for the aerospace & defense industry and propose models in similar lines; Understand how sectors like auto components/auto ancillary , electronics, ICT, technologies, Design software etc. can enhance their contribution to aerospace& defense segment; Emphasize the nations’ Strength in areas like design, program management etc; Aid government agencies in facilitating effective policy and provisions for development; Facilitate knowledge flow by working with organizations from different backgrounds on the common agenda.
