Ambassador Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan visited Zahle on Friday, December 4.
He visited the historic church of Our Lady of Zahle and Bekaa. He also called on His Eminence Archbishop Issam John Darwish at the Melkite Greek Catholic Diocese of Ferzol, Zahle and Bekaa. He had extensive business interactions discussing possibilities of expanding India- Lebanon Trade in various areas.
He met with Mr. Ziad Saadeh, Head of the Commercial Association of Zahle & other local businessmen. Ambassador also met with Mr. Gassan Saliba of Association of Lebanese Industrialists & Mr Jean Paul Khoury of Chateau Khoury, a prominent local Winery.
He also visited EDZ, the Electricity Company of Zahle which provides 24*7 electricity to Zahle and nearby areas. There are some Indian engineers also who work for EDZ.
The visit was arranged by Mr Geroge Jredi and Lawyer Tarek Gharib.
