Inauguration of India Corner at the National Library of Lebanon

Ambassador Dr Suhel Ajaz Khan & Lebanese Minister of Culture H.E. Judge Mohammad Mortada jointly inaugurated an India Corner at the National Library of Lebanon, Beirut on August 16, 2022. The Embassy donated more than 150 books for this purpose.
On this occasion, Dr Khan also presented to the Minister a copy of 1916 sketch of Indian Noble Laureat Poet Rabindranath Tagore by famous Lebanese artist, philosopher & poet Khalil Gibran, as a powerful symbol of strong cultural connect between India & Lebanon.
